Transcend's ESD270C is at the nexus of fast data transfer and solid data integrity, all in a unit the size of a credit card.
The ESD270C features the USB 3.1 Gen 2 interface, supported by UASP (USB Attached SCSI Protocol), making for transfer speeds of up to 520MB/s. The ESD270C is compatible with desktop and laptop computers, mobile devices and gaming consoles, and comes with both a USB Type-C cable as well as a USB Type-C to Type-A cable.
The ESD270C also employs 256-bit AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) encryption, a cryptographic algorithm defined by the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Data can only be encrypted or decrypted via the SSD controller, independent of any OS or program.
The ESD270C also features an auto-backup button, allowing for instant data backup when used alongside Transcend Elite, Transcend's advanced software package that provides users with backup and restore, data encryption, cloud backup and disk locking functions. Transcend Elite is compatible with macOS, Windows OS and Android systems, and is available as both a desktop and mobile app.
The ESD270C also sports an ant-scratch coating and a reflective black case, protecting the outside as well as what you're storing inside.
